Date Honey

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates

  • 1 cup water


Instructions

  1. Place dates and water into a small saucepan. Be sure that the dates are completely covered by the water. If not, add additional water until they are covered. Turn heat to high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until dates are completely soft (about 50-60 minutes).

  2. Pour the dates and liquid into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Store in the refrigerator.

Use to sweeten oatmeal, salad dressings and more!
